The great advantage of the adlib.mobile.connect is that it works with data that you already have in in your adlib collection management software. adlib.mobile.connect requests data directly from the adlib Internet Server, thus minimizing your effort to bring your collection to a mobile device dramatically. Only (some) editorial decisions and input are required to lead to an impressive result in almost no time.
adlib.mobile.connect in conjunction with the adlib API simply generates a complete mobile app. Following your institution’s editorial inputs, adlib composes the APP automatically. In addition to this adlib Information Systems provides a complete audio tour for your highlighted objects at special rates – e.g. 15 audio tracks for 1.800,- Euro. If your institution keeps video material, then this can also be added. just contact the Adlib sales team for a quotation that is tailored towards your collection. Once you have approved the APP on your phone or tablet, Adlib Information Systems will arrange all the necessary steps, including the submission, approval and registration to place your app in the Appstore. You decide under which conditions you place the app in the store (free or for a fee). If you decide to ask money for your APP, then these revenues will be paid to your institution.
We are already preparing the Android Version (planned Q4/2011) of adlib.mobile.connect, offering the same functionality via the Android market as well. You can add this platform to your offer for only an additional 1.750,- Euro per platform per year. Windows Phone 7 and further platforms may be supported on demand.
Adlib mobile connect is available for all Adlib customers that have the API. This includes all adlib SQL users and customers that use a hosted adlib solution. The standard version costs 2.000,- Euro per year The premium version costs 3.500,- Euro per year and includes branding and agreed customizations. The price for both versions includes all technical support and updating for a minimum contract period of three years.

The new adlib.mobile.connect app will completely follow your design requirements, as such it will be your own individual institution’s personalised app (within the boundaries of the provided framework).
The overall architecture of the software provides a clear structure, is self explanatory and easy to navigate (it can be adapted depending on the type of museum), offering up to six specific but individually allocable buttons.

This is a very important feature: here you introduce your collection, and its uniqueness. It provides an overview of the collection’s highlights or introduces the next special exhibition This feature is also available when the device is off-line.
Shows the calendar of current and future exhibitions and events, outlook to future exhibitions, enriched with video/audio.
Features your main merchandise (may include an article of the month), it encourages your visitors to visit your shop. This feature does not support inAPP sales.
Provides information on artists and important persons, using your adlib people repository. It can also be used to provide additional information on special subjects of interest (technology, historical background, etc.).
Provides on-line access to your complete collection from your adlib repository. All object information that have clearance to be published on the Internet can be searched on criteria that are defined by your institution. Location information can be provided with a map of your building.
